Selected as a short-list finalist for two of my paintings, “Parade Princess” and “September Moon.” This year’s Brush Off exhibition is scheduled to open virtually with a live stream awards ceremony from 5-6p EST on November 28th, 2020, in conjunction with two POP UP physical locations in both Memphis, Tennessee and Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada. Founded by Marina Cutler and a team of volunteers who worked in partnership with The Alzheimer's Society of Canada, the BRUSH OFF project was started as a way to raise awareness and speak on behalf of those living with Alzheimers who could not share their voices. It was also a way to raise funds to help create art-based programs that would help those afflicted and their caregivers benefit from art while living with Alzheimer's. In lieu of gallery commissions, proceeds from the sales of paintings in this show will go to these programs.
